30/05: Trip to Marsworth

In May 2002, I set out on our 1st real cruise. I left our "home" at High House Wharf near Weedon on the Grand Union on Friday afternoon in driving winds and drizzle, arriving in Marsworth after lunch on Sunday. I stayed for a couple of weeks before venturing up the Aylesbury Arm. This is the wonderful view I had each morning.
I hadn't seen a swan's nest before. Funnily enough - they are huge!
