07/02: Looking good...

Well the new Elizabeth Jane has been out of the workshop for just under a week now. I'm really pleased with both the colour and the quality of the finished job.
The paint has come out with an amazing high gloss mirror finish thanks to a paint additive called Owatrol which keeps the paint wet for longer, thus allowing the brush strokes to disapate more.
To celebrate, I've spent the week re-varnishing the window frames and cleaning out the bilge!
The morning sun lights High House Wharf.
A rather lovely shot with the spring morning sun accross Elizabeth Jane
A close up of the name panel. The reflection of the trees on the far side of the canal can be clearly made out in the black paintwork.
